Very nice classy place! Outside seating is in a beautiful garden setting. Jorge our server is friendly and fun and provided great service! Our meals were perfect. Plating was simple and clean. Even though our orders were simple fare, they were all delicious . Making this our go-to for lunching with friends and family!

Located in a little plaza but slightly hidden. Took us a sec to find because there isn't a large sign that says "Sherry's Kitchen" - it's tucked in an event center. Has its own parking lot with a lot of space. Inside is a little outdated but clean, seems very fitting. Staff is friendly, attentive and welcoming. Salmon lox - good and good portion of smoked salmon. I liked that they served the capers and onions on the side. I'm being picky but would have preferred the onions to be cut in circles vs chopped. The potato salad was ok, served warm which was a little odd, also wasn't a fan of the bell peppers in it 7/10 Corned beef hash - tasty, not too salty and the meat wasn't too dry. Nothing that stood out. 6/10 Blueberry pancake - this was a highlight. Not too sweet, i think it had fresh blueberries and had slightly crispy edges. 10/10 Overall, would recommend trying but nothing that I feel the need to go again.

I tried Sherrys kitchen yesterday for the first time. Service was good, friendly and prompt. I had corned beef hash and it was good. The ambiance was night and quiet enough that we could have a nice conversation in our booth. The price was not cheap nor expensive. Overall I will go back and try this restaurant again. Oops, I forgot to take pictures.

After a few months, the weekend crowds have found this place. After we came in this place got pretty full. We had the chicken (wings) and waffles and the Loco Moco with a black bean patty. Food was great. Service was good but a little over stressed.

Great food, friendly staff.... Recently moved location to Zio Fraedos location...i.e. Sherry's by day, Zio Fraedos by nite. The perfect neighborhood breakfast/lunch spot. Love it there & go often.

Alert - In case you are looking for Sherry's Kitchen on Pleasant Hill Rd, they moved about a mile south at 611 Gregory Lane. They are co-located in Zio Fraedo's. They serve brunch in the bar area 8 - 1:30 every day except Mondays. Ambiance : 4 1/2 stars. We searched Yelp for a charming brunch spot on a quiet, Thursday morning. All the descriptions in the Yelp reviews were about the old location. We learned of the move in one review, while we were on the way. Although brunch is served in the bar area of Zio Fraedo's, the bar is partitioned off, so you don't really notice it. We sat at a window table and enjoyed the view of plants on the patio. The ambiance is kind of charming but was a little noisier than we had hoped due to the full-house crowd. We didn't have to wait to be seated, but 3 minutes after we got our table, the place was filled. Service : 5 stars. The staff was very nice and welcoming. We were greeted and tended to joyfully. More than one person stopped by our table and checked on us. They are quite attentive. Food : 3 1/2 stars. Not bad, but not great. They slightly miss the mark in several ways. For example, the country potatoes, a cheap plate filler, are only a single scoop which leaves the plate looking rather stark. They are certainly tasty, but most other places would give you twice as much. The Smoked Salmon Eggs Benedict was a disappointment. The poached eggs are slightly overdone. The yolk doesn't run when you cut into them. They still taste good, but it's not a quality benedict without that golden ooze. The Hollandaise sauce tastes right but the color is a little too bright of yellow. The salmon was large enough to stick out the sides of the muffin, but so thin that you couldn't taste salmon. I also think it was grilled, which takes away some of the flavor. And the $20 price tag seems about 25% overpriced. I would have been happy with it at $15.99, but at $19.99, I expected perfection. This was one plate where I enjoyed the side more than the main dish. Would I go back? Probably not. Although I truly enjoyed the people and the atmosphere, I don't like spending $60+ for a brunch (for 2) that falls short. It will depend on the food reviews I see posted next year.

News Flash - Sherry's Kitchen has moved & is sharing space with Zio Fraedo's at: 611 Gregory Lane, Pleasant Hill. The food was yummy as always; there was a veggie omelette topped with avocado, the All American with eggs, bacon & sour dough toast & lastly a bacon waffle. Today the service was a tad off because of the move & the crew is finding how to work their new diggs. The place seems roomier, still cozy & now there's a full bar; do I hear mimosas, Bloody Mary's or screw driver please. And plenty of parking both out front & in the back. Be back soon!

Quaint is not a nice enough word. Maybe charming...in vibe and the people. The staff was so welcoming when we entered and through the meal. An independent place where the customer is well cared for. The menu had a lot of options. I went for the corned beef hash with hash browns. Felt homemade by a cook that cares about what he serves. It was just the right amount. Give this place a try and you will be a regular in no time!
